Contoured Foam Base with Lateral Thigh Supports
The Active’s lightweight, soft foam base is slightly contoured to provide mild support and enhance sitting tolerance, while its curved bottom keeps the surface level when used on sling wheelchair upholstery. Removable 1″ lateral thigh supports are tucked away in pockets of the inner cover to provide additional lateral knee support.
JAY Flow Fluid Insert
The Active features a small JAY Flow fluid insert, which conforms to each individual’s shape, adjusts to sitting positions, and ensures proper fluid placement beneath bony prominences to help protect the skin from breakdown. Its zero-maintenance design delivers superior results throughout the life of the cushion.
Dual Cover System
The Active’s water-resistant inner cover is easy to wipe off and clean and protects the foam base from moisture. Great for active clients, the outer AirExchange promotes airflow and dissipates heat and moisture to keep the top surface and the client clean and dry.
