The Adjustment is achieved by way of 2 interchangeable wedges, each of differing thicknesses that are inserted horizontally into a pouch, on the underside of the back of the cushion (below the Pelvic Trough).
This provides 4 configurations.
No wedge
Thin wedge
Thick wedge
Both wedges
The EquaGel features a two way stretch, fire retardant, vapor permeable, water proof cover to maintain a dry skin interface and will help to keep the patient skin and tissue cooler. No Pump or Valve for adjustment required. All components are machine washable. The EquaGel Adjustable Cushion is ideal for custom fabrication.
